Last yr we seen a dead brown that had to be 30+" floating in the south end. There has to be some real monsters swimming in there. If that fish wasn't on the down side I would have scoped it up to get mounted.

I was able to expand a bit further north than usual, for me, this weekend for the SA Derby and trolled today north from T-Falls up to Sheldrake and back.  Typically, I only go about half that far north but I was glad I did.  Stayed on the west side, did a lot of hours but with fairly steady action.  2 days, 28 fish.  Grand slam Sat (pic), best fish 7 lb 10 oz laker (pic), 4 lb 13 oz brown, 4 lb 12 oz LL, 3 lb 1oz rainbow.  Only made it on the board for a very brief moment, but that was a fun first for me anyway.  Sun, fish got a little heavier, though not heavy enough, 8 lb 14 oz laker (pic), 6 lb 4 oz LL (pic, caught near sheldrake), 3 lb 14 oz brown (pic), a bunch of smaller fish & 8 lakers 3-6 lb.  The derby winners landed some truly impressive fish.  Wow.
