I'll be up there this weekend chasing kings first, then probably make my first run for eyes.

I also may hit the big river for the elusive Muskie. What a great area to be in this time of year.

It's gonna take some serious beginner's luck to find the eyes and skis though.

I have, by luck, caught a few large walleyes trolling along the 23'- 27' drop off along stoney point with reef runners and dixie spinners in July and August

Well. No luck for me but totally my fault. I tried to wish things into an October pattern and stayed shallow. Left the riggers at home. 0-1 on kings and 4 small walleyes.

Worst weekend fishing in a long time for me but that's what happens when you don't go where the fish are. Gorgeous time to be out there though.

Those kings seem to be hanging in the lake a bit longer this year from what I read at least.

I bet you hammer them shallow soon Chow.
