Oak Orchard / Fathers Day weekend

Fished Sat and Sunday morning. Temps all over and scattered like fish. Not much marks for bait.

 

Most fish caught between 60-80' down. 120 -140 was found to be most productive as was it an early morning bite. Black spoons off copper , lead and divers took hits. White paddles with the stud flies caught fish as well as a few lakers. Kids had a blast.

No. Cant say that just yet. My second time fishing the west side. Do like the short run out to fishing grounds versus running out of the little salmon. It is a 8 hr ride up to the Oak from Jersey versus the normal 5. Still trying to figure it all out. Overall, fishing is normally better out that end for this time of year. Reports on east end thus far have been favorable as well.
