Grandkids 1st pike

 Some pics from the SLR in Gananoque. River was high and had to deal with a cold front but kids had a ball. They caught 19 total. Wife picked up a 3lb smallmouth.

Very nice - i've seen more pike up there this year than last year thus far.

That's awesome. Seems like the high water did some good for the fishing. Can't wait to get up there in Middle August. Here are some of the fish that have been caught near where I stay in Clayton

Congrats to the kids!! I bet they chattered like hens in a hens house. That will be the light of their summer vacation!! I know I have twin girls age 12 they don't care about size its quantity at their age!! Thanks for taking the kids fishing!!  

 

The lower post in the Clayton are congrats also, those are some stout fish in your pics!!

I stay at Mil's Cottages. Most of the fish were caught around Bluff island. I can't take credit for the fish. The guy that owns our cabins posted them. I was just stating the fact that the water level has helped the fishing. The last 2 years we were there in June and the fishing was bad.
