I-Bay 7/2, my 2 cents and a compass mishap.

Saw a few good marks this morning about 2 miles west of Hedges in 160 FOW.  Got several good hits, lost a screamer, but brought this one on board.  13lbs., 29".  90' down on a NK 28 UV green frog. Saw a few guys out in about 300' I would guess, just north of me, but the marks in 160' made me stick around.  All action on spoons, not a hit on flasher/flies.  BTW - had a strange thing happen over the last few days.  The crown on my 3" Danforth Cruiser compass cracked or burst, from 17 years in the sun I guess, and leaked all the fluid from inside onto my dash.  Ritchie seems like the best replacement piece.  Electronics are great, but a good compass is hard to do without. Anybody ever have this happen?  You can bet I'll keep the new compass covered when not in use.
