Atlantics

Has anyone else picked up any this season? Before this season I had caught 5 in all my years fishing the lake. This season, I have picked up 3. 2 of them came this past week.

If you look at the DEC fish census report, they are showing quite a few atlantics showing up in the creel surveys this year. quite a few more than in previous seasons.

Thanks Tim. I was really shocked to get #2 and #3. 2 of the 3 I have caught were small. The one I got on Sunday was about 8 lbs. Not as much fun on a 300' copper.

Interesting, I wish they would break it down even further by port.

Took one the first Saturday in May at the Niagara Bar...Been trolling the lake since the early 90's and it was the first one I have ever caught and the 3rd i've seen brought aboard...Was only a 2 pounder but was my first and enabled us to get our first "grand slam" considering we already caught kings, cohos, lakers a brown then finally the elusive Atlantic...

I caught one a couple weeks ago in mexico bay. Other boats out of that port also have been catching them where and there.
