Just bought a 2006 Trophy 2002, I want to mount my 9.9 Honda Long Shaft , 4 Stroke on it. Has anyone ever mounted a motor this heavy on a swim platform? The swim platform is only on the starboard side ! Whats everyones suggestions?

Bought a Trophy 2002 model with outboard, I want to mount my 9.9 Ex. Long shaft 4-stroke , Is the small Swim platform strong enough to put a bracket on for this size motor?

I wouldn't.  I have the same boat and my swim ladder platform is cracked. Ordered what appeared to be a perfectly good used one to replace it from EBay and it has the exact same crack.

No problem. I went with the other side and used a fixed mount that allows for wireless steering using a key fob. It's awesome to not be tied to the steering wheel all the time.
