Status update on Fort Niagara Launch(s)- July 22.

I may got o Fort Niagara Sunday July 23rd, instead of my usual Olcott, since Olcott was slow Friday, and from the Reports today (22nd) seems to be still slow. Has anyone been there lately? Last time,  (Months ago)  the water was over the docks, and one dock was closed.  Thanks.

I was there two weeks ago,no change. West launch was closed. East (nearest the coast guard station) was open and still underwater. They tried to collect my money at the gate to launch , I refused telling them I'm not paying if I can't launch. Found the launch still under water. They tried to do something with sandbags but water was carrying those away too. Hazardous launching because the concrete could damage your hull if the water is rough. 

It's a crap shoot...

Yeah when I was there paid my money at top of hill, and found same thing. Didn't launch because I was afraid I would scrape the transducers off. Really too bad they don't put in floating docks. The Niagara bar fishing is basically not an option this year.
