How about Bass Pro bought out Cabelas and they do not need another store to compete with the two stores nearby. Online sales are a major component of their marketing and stores are for hands on sales.

I know what you are saying about oversaturation.  That was an issue with Gander Mountain, but that Cabelas store is not much larger than the Field and Stream store in Rochester.  The Bass Pro store was suppose to be huge.

Last I heard it was that the town board had many concerns with the traffic that it would create
