Niagara bar

Anyone do good yesterday on the bar for eyes or bass? I did bad. What's the best setup? I was fishing 3 way with worm harness but not much biting. I got out a bit late when most of them boats were heading in.

Mike if the lake rolls over, a good bet is to be fishing from the fort and upstream. The bass from the lake don't like cold water and will pile into the river in huge numbers. Often you only have to drift along the coast guard retaining wall to get your fill.

Would love to try the bar once in a while, but no suitable boat launch.

I think most people are using the Lewiston launch ramp and running down river.
