Good ole Roemer release. Just remember it leaves flat spots / weak spots on cable over time when stacking it.

Thanks for the pic. I would of never figured it out. I did buy some clips that went to the ball just encase. Now I got a lot more to learn. Mostly bought for a probe eventually but won't be this year. Mount them tomorrow maybe give them a shot in the afternoon.

I agree with the use of Chamberlains and have had good luck with them...I have roemers and ended up clamping rubber bands in the jaws with a half hitch to the fish line, instead of trying to remember how to thread the line through them. 

 

I've had the same issue that someone above mentioned  above about the continued use making flat spots on the rigger cable with the Chamberlains also.

I use roemers but have used Chamberleins too.  It is all what you get used to.  Both are great
