Anyone here about a 27# Brown being caught out of Cayuga in the past two weeks.   I've got a pic of one,  Don't know the guy in pic.

I think you are right Billy. I wonder if they used a certified scale because that fish doesn't look that much bigger (at least in the pic) than my 16 lb brown (for comparison) 32 inches long and 22 inch girth noted by the taxidermist.

I heard something about it too. A friend of mine at the Ithaca wegmans works with either the guy that caught it or somebody who knows him. Supposedly it was from shore...

It's true. I know Fred, he is our local police officer. He caught it from shore. I cannot confirm the weight.
