How to use and rig a familiar bite

Just bought a package of familiar bites and harness and need to know how to set it up, lenght of lead, what to run it behind and how far? THANKS!

Put the bait in the bait head, put a tooth pick through the bait head and the bait. Then you need to put a toothpick in the top of the baithead to keep the hooks in place. I run the treble just past the tail of the bait. You can run them clean (no flasher) or behind a flasher. I like running them behind Spin Doctors with a 48" lead.
