Linking fish finders

Gander mt is going out of biz here and they have fish finders cheap.... can I take the head unit from a helix 5 and mount it on my bow and hook it into my 859 xd so it gets picture and they both use the same transducer?

I'm not sure I know but if they both support NMEA2000 networking then maybe they can share data. I found this chart on Hummingbird website. Maybe this can help but I don't see the helix 5 listed on the chart

I'm 99% sure regular helix 5 units aren't network capable. However you may be able to run a splitter cable but I can't find a link to the specific one you will need

When I bought mine they had helix g2 and g2n the g2n meant networking not sure if that's what your talking about or not but that's what I was told the difference was
