Has anybody fished out of Sodus in water 150 to 250?

anybody finding fish in a little?

Any info on a starting depth etc would be appreciated, headed up that way on Wednesday morning.

Thanks

There have definitely been some majors 100-120, if you are willing to grind them out

I rely on several weather forecasts to determine if I will make the drive pulling the boat.

I start with The First sight and click thru on Lake Ontario and do wave height and wind , THEN I go look at the Weather bug cameras along Lake Ontario and if still in doubt check Finger lakes weather

Try it you will like it..

July 30-31 I caught kings in 74'-150', 4lb-18lb with a few small browns and lakers mixed in. The action was ok mid-day and hot in the evening. The following Sunday, not a hit between 5:30-8:30AM, but marked good bait and a few fish. Went back out at 9:30, but the fiancé got motion sick so we returned to the docks after 45 minutes or so.

On the 30th, I ran out to 400-550 (based on reports) for 2 hours without a hit or mark. After the run back in to 120' I had a king in minutes. I believe that was after a South wind over the course of a few days.

Was going to try this weekend, but my bass boat gets a little tough to fish out of in 12-15mph West winds. Cayuga will most likely be my destination.
