Got a late start after driving in from Pittsburgh and blowing a trailer tire outside of ASB in Newfane.  Picked up a few needed supplies from a very nice gentleman at ASB.

 

Finally put in about 1645 and picked up a double in 375' NE of the launch.  Dipsies 260' back on a 3 setting.  Same Moonshine spoon kept us pretty busy until we boxed out about 2000.  Picked up a few shakers on SDs and Stud flies.

 

Had a helluva fish on the 300' copper, unfortunately he loves to see another day.

 

Be back at it tomorrow with a bigger net!  Overall maiden voyage on Ontario was a success!  Thanks to LOU for the helpful insight allowing us to fill the cooler.

A lot slower today.  Few shaker kings and some chrome.  Lot of boats out, all going different directions.  Kind of doubt anyone is on fish.  Started in 240, all the way out to 440' now.  Gonna make some loopers and hopefully piss one off

Try out deeper like 460 475 we been getting full boxes in a couple of hour out there and deeper 58 riggers spoons 75 to 90 with ff and meat

2face sd with stud fly try purple or pink spoons have been doing damage on them

Ya eyecatcher I agree with Triumphchaos we fish 475 ft  lots of small fish and some not so small  just keep checking lines for small fish, most of our fish came 80ft down, all spoons .Good luck

Very good mature action today 30.5 line if you are still out there.  Huge flip this week and it's not over yet.

May be bumpy and wet, but think we're gonna take the ride north to 29-31 lines.  Seems most reports out the action out that way.

Well, never made it out to the 30 line!  Little too bouncy for my tin can.

 

Picked up a few shakers, a laker and a steelie in 200'.

Lol, I tried to head out last Thursday when you said it wasn't bad and got turned around in about 180'.  Luckily I did, found a pocket of fish and stayed on them.

 

If you say it's bumpy, may watch from the dock!

Last Thursday wasn't bad if you compare it to the last couple days.    3-4 footers last Thursday outside nothing torrential. 4-5's today easy out deep.  Fishing is not fun after 5 footers...time to go back

Found them!  West of Wilson.  Nice pod of mature fish

we too fished west of Wilson but didn't find any big ones how deep were you fishing eyecatcher we fished 325 to 350 didn't mark much caught a few smalls ones                  thanks   YELLOWPIKE
