Trolling bags

I have a question about trolling bags, maybe a silly question but here it goes. Anybody use trolling bags/drift bags for stability in bigger waves? I know they will slow the boat down but do they offer any extra stability? I have 48"'bags and 20' trophy.

I think they slow the rolling action down some. More steady than jerky

Absolutely. 2 28" beefy buggy bags will keep me fishing comfortably in some pretty big seas. Being in a heavy boat helps a lot too.
