I was messing with the jets today, when i got back i saw this oil leaking down the shaft. After looking around I found it coming from the top cylinder. Did I make the mixture to rich by turning the knobs? Running it 50:1. Suppose tobbe 40:1?

Not sure how to use the knobs. Runs great except for this

Mike I'm not sure about the knobs but 50:1 is LEANER (oilwise) than 40:1

i would burn the right ratio the motor should have . the plug looks lose or the plug casket is bad . or the plug threads on the head are worn might need a neela coil

Running 50-1 is lean for an outboard. The Motor will heat up more with a 50-1 mixture vs 40-1. Coming from an old 2 stroke Motocross racer we would run 50-1 but we had to adjust sparkplugs, jets, air settings, reeds, etc. Too lean of a mixture and you will start to blow gaskets and burn pistons and rings etc. I'd replace all seals/gaskets and run recommended
