Just got one of these was wondering about the coated cable 150 test looks like it could brake easly what pound ball would be the heaviest to use thank for n e info

150 lb test up to at least 100 lbs ball,, any ball That your  down rigger is rated for balls made up to 20lbs.

I've used 14# for years with no problem, both Cannon and Shark.

I run 12lb torpedoes with no problem.

I run 16# torpedos with no problem. Heavier the better due to increased blow back.
