YXcrUEmB-1288423886.jpgI've been trying for most of the summer to get two buddies of mine out for the eyes. They're northern fishermen, spend a lot of hours in the boat and usually do ok.

Got out night before last for a couple of hours and trolled up a pair of beauties: a 30" @ 11 lb and a 29" @ 10. Got a couple others to keep it interesting.

Glad I was able to produce for them. They've had to endure a lot of stories!

Can I ask where in the river approximately they were caught?

Judging by the bridge in the background I would say about half way between the u.s. and Canada.

Nice catch!

The picture was taken from my house. We fish from Clayton to the Bay, and I can assure you there are fish the whole way.

You have a beautiful place ProfT. I have seen it from the water many times. It was pointed out to me when fishing with a fellow LOU member who lives near you.

You make a great point. There sure are a lot of eyes on the river. I am continually surprised with new places to fish. The tried and true spots are great. However, there is so much structure that holds walleye between clayton and the bay the opportunities are countless.

It's great to be a walleye fisherman.... most days[emoji12]

It was always a dream to have a place where I could keep a boat on the water and fish as much as I do.

I've met some great people, we swing close to each other and touch base each night, and have become a close community as a result of this site.

Great fish Prof! We've had some good luck out on niagara shoal this year and I've been in front of your place too. However, with the new Yamaha on the Grady you probably can't hear me[emoji6]
