Eel bay perch

Hello fellow anglers,

 

Just wondering if anyone has some insight into fishing eel bay for perch? I would like to try this fall since our summer was a bust.

 

Do the flats hold more schools than the channel by picton?

 

Are minnows the bait of choice?

We did well on perch & northerns off the point of canoe point at the beginning of august.   Perch were on the edge of the drop off.  We were using bass minnows and catching perch up to 13"
