Cayuga 9/10

Fished Cayuga at long point sp. South. I stayed in at 100 to 120. Riggers at 60 70 85. All spoons, green frog was killer. 3 rainbows, one 7.0 lb other 3 and 3.5. Seven Lakers most 2.5 lbs, but one 8lbs. Funny thing the rainbow were in the areas of the most floating weed debris.  The Lakers were most active about 5:30 pm. Wonderful evening.

I ran small spoons, only 10 to 20 feet behind the weights. 1.6 to 2.0 for speed. Nnw wind made south troll to fast. Going straight into it was better. Try a variety of spoon. I did run sticks but zip. Usually pick up browns on the sticks but none. There were some fleas but not bad. I used light tackle. My spinning rods 10 lb fluro. I like to follow the bottom contour with my deeper weight. I keep it about 5 to 10 feet above. Marked lots of bait. With arcs all near. Good luck.
