What powder in Federal Premium?

What powder in Federal Premium?

Just taking a shot in the dark here. Does anyone have any idea what powder Federal uses in their Premium Rifle line? I was playing with my 7-08 and the federal premium behind a 140 gr Nosler partition performed the best out of my gun. Obviously, I would like to be able to reproduce with handloads.  Thanks for any info.

Not sure but I'd start with H4350 and 168 grain Berger VLD.  If you stick with the Noslers I'd still use the H4350.

I agree Sean. We run that quite a bit through different rifles. The best load I have used so far in this gun besides the one mentioned above has been with 4064, around 42 grains if I can remember right. The 120 Barnes TTSX ( Thanks DVD) shoots fairly well too but this combo seems to be what my rig likes best at the moment.
