hello its ron, the motor works well on my 20 inch boat transom. i measure from the bottom of the shat to the top of the shaft under  the motor mount, it is 29 inches. i was referring to the 20 inch transom when i responded to your inquiry. ty

See pic attached. 24 inches from top of transom. All of prop needs to be below the 24 in mark.
