Left the dock Wed and the speed temp gage was dead. Bad battery. Instead of going in to the truck for the new battery we stayed out and fished. Marked a bunch of fish west in 250' of water. Managed only two fish, a nice king and a steelhead. Thursday we realized why we should have gone in for the speed temp gage, lol. Speed was way different in different directions form the gps to the down speed. We went 6 for 12 on Thursday with some huge fish. Thursday we fished in 130' of water as the down temp was at the 70' range. Many boats fished inside of that and did well but we stayed out and away from the pack. Friday the temp was in even further. We went 6 for 6 with a slower day seeing less fish but the results were the same. Thursday's evening bite was the best they had all year so we hung in for the Friday bite. The screen lite up just as the sun was going down. We got all big fish on Friday (only one small one).

Saturday was not very kind to us. We only landed one fish so we were one for one. We tried to play in the pack in 90-100 feet of water and got cut off by some jerk going the complete opposite troll from everyone else. As I slowed the weights hung and you can read the outcome in the general area post I put up giving a shout out to Jekyll.

We were back in business by 3:30 and went 0-0 on the evening bite that never happened for us and most. Talked to a couple guys fishing east and Saturday was much better for them.

Spike

Forgot to add we ended up using just Spin docotrs with flies. Not sure of the fly names but the SD's were green (a couple different shades) and white. Green did better with most of the fish coming on wire dipseys set on 2 anywhere from 215-371 out. Green on green as most boats were calling.
