Pap,

Yeah this is the big show at the Niagara Falls convention center.  Lots of vendor and lots of seminars.  The have like 10 rooms they have seminars.  Each room has a series of seminars for a certain type of activity.  One rooom may have different seminars on stream fishingwith ea h one being an hour or two.  The next room may be open lake, the next is walleye.  Most of these are free with admission.  But the salmon school, the How to better use your electronics and walleye carry an extra charge over admission.  Great show, well managed!

Yea ok thanks!!

I was going to sign up for this, but since I am truly a novice, it sounds like it might be too advanced.  I am just starting out this next season.

"The Salmon School is not meant for novices to the Lake Ontario fishery. It is a “hard core” salmon class targeted toward providing the “experienced weekend warrior” with additional insights and details to improve their catch in the limited time they have on the water. "

Dont let that deter you. There is so much information given out that you will certainly benefit from some of it. Besides the LOTSA portion of the show there are other seminars also.

Attending all the seminars will take a couple days. The Seneca Casino across the street has rooms and covered parking so check out hotel reservations now.

Signed up yesterday! Anybody know if LOTSA sends you a confirmation email once you register? I never got anything from them.

I do see my name on the list of attendees so I'm assuming I'm all set

Guys - as of November 30th we are 2/3 full. We expect to be sold out by the end of December. If your planning on attending, I wouldn't wait long to secure your seat or you may miss out on the cutting edge knowledge that Greg, Jason and Rick will be sharing in the school.

Yup. If you show up on the list, you’re all set.

When I was doing it, I had to process all of the registrations manually and I sent each registrant a confirmation email. After 18 years as the Club Secretary, I retired at the end of last year. Chad here at LOU is running and maintaining our website now and he has everything automated. Once the payment processes, it automatically updates the list on the website.

Folks,

I have worked at the sign in table for this school the last three years and we have always had to turn people away because they tried to get in at the last minute.  Sign up early because it will fill up.  Whether you are a newbie or someone with twenty years experience, you will still learn something from this school.  By signing up, you automatically become a member of LOTSA, you receive a goodie bag of lures and tackle, a very nice lunch and free admission to the expo for only $85.00.  It's a great way to break up the winter, run into old friends and meet new ones.  So go ahead, treat yourself and sign up

That was my post from October under the tournament section.

As of December 12, there are only ten seats left for the school.   Three great fishermen are lined up to teach this class.  DON'T MISS IT!!!!!!!!

You can win by using the free covered parking. January is a snow month.

And so is December, February and part of March:P
