So add this lake to old man’s “skunk tour”. I don’t know what was worse,the heat or the stench of the massive carp die off. Saw nothing,caught nothing. Nice boat wash though.

Thats one of my home lakes in the spring. Been fishing it for years. It has had some nice heavy muskies in it, but they can be pretty stingy sometimes.

I heard they sprayed/killed all the weeds this summer. PA makes some bad management decisions. With the best muskie hatchery in the state on the lake, it could be way better.

Pymy has fished slow all year. Its the new dead sea...taking over for Lake Wilhelm. As for the carp tested positive for the Koi Herpes Virus. This lake is WAY over carry capacity of carp, so other than the stench, it might not be a bad thing
