Oswego County Fishing Report for September 29, 2017

This report courtesy of the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning. This report was posted on September 29, 2017.

Lake Ontario report:

Lake anglers enjoyed some great fishing this week with the warm temperatures. With the change in the weather pattern and more seasonable temperatures, more salmon are moving into the river. After the wind we had yesterday, it is hard to say what the best water depth will be this weekend but there will be plenty of fish. The same baits are continuing to work well – flies and flashers, spoons, cut bait and j-plugs.
