Ladder stand winch installation

Has anyone ever tried the winch installation system? I was wondering about the pivots you place in the ground and then put the ladder in it  to hoist up with the winch.  Can you get those pivots out later to use in other installations or do you have to leave them in.

Or you just call a friend who's 99% chimp at the DNA level (we all are, actually) and he climbs your tree and hoists your stand for you. Hint, hint.

The winch is awesome given you do not always have someone with you to help hoist up a stand. You hoist up the stand, have it leaning against the tree, lift it up and the pegs on the pivots fall out of the bottom of the ladder. You do not leave them in the ground
