Catskill Trout

Didn’t know where to post this.

Went to a Catskill Stream and floated some eggs sacs made from a salmon eggs from a late summer hen. Small trout, but had a blast.  2 browns, 9 rainbows and lots of fun!

Next time, please show a fantasy name for your creek. There is a better than fair chance that your creek will suffer from over popularity in the near future, just because you mentioned it here.

Exxxxelllent!! And those small trout, where plentiful, make for a very tasty 5 fish limit. And only every now and then (years between such meals) so as to not deplete the population! A great romantic and easily prepared meal for two with whatever sides. I believe in C&R, as well as mindful, grateful, respectful of the population, harvest.
