Oswego County Fishing Report for November 13, 2017

This report courtesy of the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning.

Oswego River report

Although the river is still running high it has dropped some over the last few days. This afternoon it is flowing at 14,700cfs. This level still makes it difficult to fish along the river so there is not much to report. Driftboat anglers have been seeing some action with steelhead, rainbows and brown trout. Temperatures will be in the 40s this week with the possibility of some snow over the weekend.

Notice: The bridge to Leto Island is closed, and there are mandatory personal flotation device (PFD) zones on the river. For more information, view the Brookfield Varick Fish Safely Brochure.
