My first open lake king, 26#. Had only done tribs prior. This fish ruined me. Forced me to buy a boat less than a month later....and here I am, Lou member and counting down the days till spring ! This was a buddy's boat, my first experience trolling for salmon. he was just setting up the program with 4 out of 8 lines wet and I noticed a rigger rod bouncing, I was like... Ummmm dude, what's with that rod..??.lol. FISH ON !!! Literally just got done telling him I expected a fish on in >5min.

I must say I have towed a few guys in and yes I have been towed in, after a hour on the kicker gettin us closer to land. Sometimes your the windshield and sometimes your the bug either way it’s not fun=$$$. Cool post!!
