Any update in the report of a woman shot ? after dark by ? deer hunter ?

If it is the one that was shot Thanksgiving eve in Sherman NY, she passed away on the way to the hospital.

The hunter has been charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Sad situation and stupid.  It was 45 minutes after sunset.

There's been lots of discussion of this on other message boards. I think that the general consensus has been that there's just no excuse. What happened gives all hunters a bad rap.

The community is a tight knit community, she was well known in it and by all accounts was one of those people with a heart of gold.

He only lived a couple blocks away from her and the families know each other.  It was dark when he shot at what he thought was a target that was at

least 200 yards away.  Again very said and the only thing that could come out of it is a teaching moment for all of us to think before we act.
