X4 TO X4D

bought new to me boat. Came with x4 .Want to put my x4d in it do I have to change every thing?

they all use the same transducer.

You need a new Probe and Display . Might be better  buying a new unit and selling this one .

That's what I did when I switched. The new owner got everything new but the X4 screen and the probe

I think if read carefully he said he already has an X4D display and probeand wanted to know if he could use his existing transducer with it on this boat. I believe shawn393 answered it correctly.

Right, and the X4D Display and X4D probe can be used with the X4 wiring and X4 transducer.

Thanks every body. I will use my display and probe. Find out in spring how it works. Did not want to take it all apart and put back together if I did not have to.
