I went to an Oswego County of Sportsman Federation meeting on Thurs. There was a fisheries representative there and he spoke about the new possible world records. The 1st fish caught (34.6) was a hybrid. The 2nd fish caught (34.10) is in the grey area and the biologists were still doing testing on it. Hopefully it sticks. Good job!!

There will be more and more of these fish showing up. An interesting thought is that because they are hybrid they may be sterile this would produce 5-8 year old fish and they could get real big. I first started seeing these fish in 2005 as two year olds in May.
