if brand isn't an issue, check on Magnumz.   Formerly Vector.  Not affiliated in any way with them, but

they were across the aisle from us at the NF show....looked pretty solid and price is good....

First decide what down rigger you want. What are the features you "have to have" and the ones you would "like to have"

Once you have narrowed it down to one or two models than shop around for that model(s)

As said above Marine General has good prices and also Cannon has some addition rebates available right now if price is most important.

I got a 1116 Scotty pro pack from fish usa last fall for 550 ish ,in my opinion best bang for the buck if you like Scotty
