This report was written on Saturday, February 3, 2018. This week’s fishing report is from Ron Bierstine at Oak Orchard Tackle & Lodge, today:

 

"Temps have been fluctuating…  Warm with some melting snow last Wednesday and Thursday and then cold Friday. The weekend forecast was seasonable – around 30°F with some snow showers, with Wintry weather forecast after that. See forecast below.

 

"Flows in the Oak are hanging in about medium with 2 – 3′ of visibility.  Easier drifting conditions than a week or so ago when flows were higher and dirtier.  Guys are into some steelhead, a mix of older and fresher fish with an occasional bigger one thrown in."
