That looks great! Is that minicell foam you used for the flashers? Did you glue it in somehow?
I don't know the foam it's real stiff non porus stuff I got from work and yea few dabs of super glue can flip box over flashers don't fall out.

If it's the stuff I'm thinking it is, I just made some downrigger weight holders out of it. Guys use it to make kayak seats as well. I have a few other ideas using it and now I have another. Thanks for sharing!

How did you make weight holders ? Mind sharing

I bought a 16" by 16" slab of mini  cell foam and carved out the shape of my weights with a fillet knife and grinder disc. I also cut them to fit tightly in my gunwale compartment.

I got mine at outdoorplay.com, but they sell different sizes and thickness of mini cell foam on Amazon as well. I've seen it called micro cell foam too and I think they are the same.

 

I got the idea from some packaging foam as well, but it took some research to figure out what kind it was and how to carve it.
