Our lake house is about 2 miles north of the power plant on honoco rd.. we were do I g work today and I took a few casts with an old ugly stick bait.

 

Lake trout following almost every cast.. landed 2 over 6 lbs... in 2.5 f ow to 6 inches..... puking up 2 to 3 inch gobies

Nice looking laker! (unclipped, wild fish?)  I'm just down the road from you on Fire Lane 6 - neighbors have been having fun with them recently off their docks too.

Taughannock Falls was open this past weekend but very very shallow. If lunching there is a galvanized pipe used to keep the Lunch open for the air system and it is only about a foot under water. It will be very easy to hit with the prop I launched with a 19 foot Bayliner got in and out fine but it is very shallow

Wonder if that's "right time, right place" or if its worth taking a short trip!? My family has a place that's about halfway between you and AES.
