Today is Monday, February 26, 2018. This week’s fishing report is from Ron Bierstine at Oak Orchard Tackle & Lodge:

"Still plenty of water in the Oak – turbine and overflow levels. Even though we dodged big rain over the past weekend, it was enough to put overflow levels back on the rise a little bit. The Oak is giving up some fresh steelhead. However, hook-ups aren’t necessarily coming in big bunches in the high, stained and cold flows. Water temps are easing into the high 30’s °F now as Lake Alice ice is just about gone. Look for still high turbine flows and likely diminished overflow water thru this week before any new precipitation. Other area smaller tributaries are wide open with fresh fish chances and in some cases water temperatures in the mid 40’s already."
