About the rocket launcher, do you mean 68" from the center of one mounting plate to the center of the other mounting plate?

 

How tall are the mounting plates?

 

Can you measure the distance across the mounting plates, outside to outside? I don't know how wide my hardtop is without measuring it, but I don't have much wiggle room to work with. That is close to what I'm looking for.
