Big jon rigger repair

I bought two big jons off the site last year. Boom broke on one and motor burned up on one and the other probably isn’t long for this world. Has anyone replace a motor? I haven’t pulled it apart yet but from the outside it doesn’t look like it will be hard.

I got all my parts for mine a few years ago directly from the big jon web site. The motor is held on with 3 Allen bolts from behind the pulley, the worst part will be getting the pin out of the main shaft if the previous owner didn't do the yearly maintenance. Also if you put a bearing in place of the small motor washer pack you can lift a few more pounds, hope that helps.
