Key west 1720

I’m looking at a 2001 key west 1720 dual console with a 2003 Yamaha F100 fourstroke. I was curious as to if any of you had any experience with the boat. Or had any words of wisdom about it. Thanks in advance.

I owned a 2003 1720CC with 70 hp 4s. Fit & finish on it was very good, and it handled rough water nicely. Key West hulls are a no wood no rot design like Scout Boats.
I sold the boat because I wanted to move up to a 20’ walk-around; otherwise I’d still own it today.

Awesome thanks for the input. I think the DC model will be a bit better with weight more forward. As far as the wet deck goes.

Make sure its just been in fresh water. Motors don't last long in salt water

Update: I bought the boat last Friday and dragged it home from Rhode Island. I was impressed by the sea trial and overall feel of the boat. No to make it fishy

I owned a1720cc.  In fact I think the same exact boat Irish 1-3 owned.   Good boat!
