i'm looking to buy a used 1994 Yamaha T9.9elrs for trolling . My question is how can i know or maybe someone could tell me if it will put some sort of charge back into my batteries when trolling?

the yama 9.9ht elr has a ten amp alternator, will run everything you need. have been using one since 94.

i have a t-9 manuel start & no charging system is it worth up dating its a 93 and looks and runs like new?
