Sold / Closed motor 9.9 evenrude

I have a  1978 long shaft evenrude runs good last time used,needs motor mounts.Motor also has elec start but needs to be rewired.$250.00

Does this also have pull start? Also, how does engine run?

Yes the pull start is in the center, hard to see I have the same motor with a 15hp motor hood, just the carbs are different.

The motor always ran good,it has not been used in a while.

If the compression on this  thing is good than this is a steal. Long shaft on a 1978 is 23 inches so it is halfway between long and extra long. It is very easy to connect cables and turn it into a remote control kicker.

I have a 15hp power head for that motor and a lower unit, both are in excellent condition, as this motor was only used 1 time a year for a Canadian trip, I bought another motor and was going to put this one back together but never got to it.
