Abu Garcia Altums, 7 foot 10 telescopic.  It really depends on what your use for them is.

I love 8-3 medium-light ugly stick. Strong enough for any fish we have in this lake and enough action that even a Brown is fun

Ok those aren't planer board rods. Planer board rods are designed to be used with in line planer boards like off shore brand. I'm assuming you want something to run with your mast and big board system.
