IF the dipsy rod holder and the riggers are positioned right it shouldn't be a frequent problem; especially if you set the diver to the closest rigger at 2 and keep the depth of that rigger and the diver separated. (and not running a J-plug on both) :lol:

steel head hitting and 70 down and jumping before you get to the rod can cause some weird tangles nothing like having one jump on the port side parallel to the boat but its around the starboard dipsey and nothing else definite wtf moment

I can run three dipsy divers per side all day on Lake Erie using 3, 1, and zero settings. Tried running two per side on Lake Ontario and had nothing but tangles. I think the combination of longer leads and stronger currents makes it more difficult on Lake Ontario. This year I plan to give it another try running two per side when I visit in June or July
