Brown run 3/25 Olcott

Launched at Olcott. 15 knot north north/east. Went to keg and rolled back past the piers. Couldn't take a break. Went 26/29. Lost a big one in the prop wash. Also grabbed a Laker on a hot n tot in 17fow. Was an awesome day !!! 17-18 fow. Spoon program was hot. Green/copper. Green chartuse. Green/blue/gold. Seems everything we threw caught fish. All released to fight another day.

That's awesome. Knew I should have gone out. I guess I made a bad decision to change my trailer lights to led's lol. What was the water temp out of Olcott.

If the bite is half as good,it will be worth the trip. 1/4 before and after keg, 1/4 mile before and after piers were holding fish. I watched some of the video and right after piers we had 4 rods fire in 3 minutes.

If any of you go out, and find my tot, please return. He is missed. Poor fella was brand new and caught 2 browns and a Laker back to back to back. Then, he decided to stay in LadyO. Throughout the day I kept yelling "tot"!!!?? Tot ???

 

So if your out there and you hear somebody yelling for tot, just smile and nod. Lol

Anybody ever check the stomach contents of these winter browns? Curious as to what they are eating this time of year. Some look pretty hefty.

We did run over a bait boil, that's when we hooked a quick 3. I literally looked and saw a boil between inside and outside board and immediatly got a fish.

The browns on the Western end of the lake look like a different strain than those caught on the Eastern Shores. The spots are much more pronounced.???
