Fished south end out of Taughannock from 3 to 7.  Trolled Thundersticks, Rapalas  spoons and streamers on boards and dipseys.  One small brown and one pickerel.  Water temp along west shore was 37 with clear water.  East shore was 40 and cloudy.  Only one other boat trolling.  Found lots of lakers and bait very deep near Bolton Point.  Lots of perch fisherman in front of Canoga.

I fished the same day, just north of Taughannock, trolled up almost to Sheldrake.  Only landed 1 one laker around 3 pounds.  Had 3 other runoffs, but they got off.  Sharpening my hooks this week!  I tried in shallow, 20-50 fow the first 3 hours, then went deeper 70-250 fow.  Couldn't decide which was better.  The fish seem fairly scattered lately.  But they're out there!

From what I was told last year ... old timer keeping fishing logs...the lake needs to hit 42-43 degrees temp before south end gets good.
