well, finally had a successful trip on otsego lake thurday two nice LL's 26 &30", one laker(24") and one very fat small mouth. one LL on black and puple michigan spoon behind 300' of copper and the rest on green/crush ice e-chip flasher with white glow howie fly on a wire dipsy 150' out. marked lots and lots of fish on the east side of the lake most were between 20-60 ft over 70-100 fow. couldnt get the down riggers to produce, next time!

What size dipsey and setting were you running?

Any color dipsey you prefer over the others?

it was a yellow and silver magnum with the ring on a 3 setting. i never looked to see exactly how deep it was running, after the first fish i didnt mess with it. this was the first time i ever took fish on a dipsey, my previous attempts were met with tangled messes with my copper so it was a good day. now if can only get the big motor to run more than a half a mile life will be great!.

Where can I launch a Starcraft Islander on Otsego lake? I would be coming from the west on 80.

Only Launch is south end of lake in town. 80 south to first left along lake. launch next to lake view restraunt.
